Stasiemeester Self Catering Chrissiesmeer Mpumalanga

Enjoy your stay in rural Chrissiesmeer, the beautiful lake district of South Africa, with 270 lakes and pans located with¬in a 20 km radius of the village. It is the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax in the tranquil unspoiled countryside.

In early years this property was used as the South African Railways bus stop and goods depot and the house was occupied by the station master. The house was recently renovated and stylishly furnished to be used as a self catering guest facility.

The cottage is only a five-minute walk to the centre of the village. It comprises two double bedrooms and a twin room with two separate bathrooms. We supply crisp linen and towels.
There is a lounge-dining room, fully equipped kitchen and an outside braai area. A special feature for our wedding guests is the make-up station with big mirrors and hair dryers where two ladies can ready themselves for any special occasion.

Nature lovers or those fascinated by things of the past will find plenty of things to do in the area. Otherwise you can visit a coffee shop and enjoy the peaceful character of the town and the hospitality of its people.

The cottage is not serviced – however this can be arranged on request.
