The building that houses the reception area, lounges and dining room used to be a farmhouse that dates back to the late 1930’s. While a few of the rondavels remain, ten modern rooms have been added to create a bouquet of six luxury suites overlooking the garden and pool, four hotel suites, seven family suites and three rondavels. All the rooms, including the original rondavels of the guest farm, have been refurbished. Comfortable accommodation is the cornerstone of the Hotel, beautiful rooms provide intimate privacy for guests, a completely relaxing experience in absolutely awesome surroundings.

The Hotel has an old fashioned charm and provides the service of a bygone era. The Hotel overlooks a large garden with colourful roses, lilies, clivias and has a serene pool. The Hotel is named after the Vale of Avoca, an idyllic spot in Ireland. The Vale of Avoca is situated in beautiful County Wicklow and inspired Thomas Moore’s poem “The Meeting of the Waters”.
