The gentle elegance of Sheilan House, a luxury guest house, provides all its guests with a unique experience of friendly hospitality and 4 star service, excellent location and access to all local activities in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape. We are a mere 300 metres from Royal Port Alfred Golf Club.

Port Alfred is situated half way between Port Elizabeth and East London and thus a convenient meeting place for business people from both cities or a handy stop off destination for travellers between Cape Town or the Garden Route and the Wild Coast or Kwa Zulu Natal. The area is known as the Sunshine Coast because of it’s proven abundance of sunshine throughout the year. It offers excellent surfing conditions, deep sea fishing and river activities. The coastline has endless kilometres of pristine beach and dunes.

We have 4 double rooms – 3 with queen size beds and 1 with twin 3/4 beds which can be put together to make a super king size bed.
2 rooms have a bath and shower.
2 rooms have large walk-in showers.
Each room has basic self catering facilities i.e. fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery.
Braais/bar-b-ques are available on request. There is also an indoor braai in the breakfast area next to the lounge.
Each room has it’s own private patio and garden.
Air conditioners and televisions are independently controlled.

We also have a family room with a queen and 2 single beds. It comfortably accommodates a family of 4 – 2 adults and 2 children. It is however close to the swimming pool and not suitable for small children who cannot swim. It has a large bathroom with shower, bath and double vanity unit. It also has basic self catering facilities, full DSTV and CD player and air conditioner.
